Mash ripe bananas until smooth.
Mix rice flour, sugar, mashed banana, melted ghee, crushed cardamom, cloves, and coconut milk into a thick, pourable batter.
Let the batter rest 2 hours at room temperature.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 170C.
Take a handful of batter and squeeze it out between your thumb and forefinger in a circular motion directly into the hot oil, forming a ring.
Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes total. Drain on paper towels.
Serve warm as a snack or with tea. Traditionally made during Dashain and Tihar.
