Mix flour, yeast, salt, warm milk, and a tablespoon of oil into a soft dough. Knead 8 minutes until smooth.
Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour until doubled.
Divide dough into 6 balls. Stretch each into a thin oval disc about 20cm across — pull from the center outward.
Heat oil in a deep pan to 180C. Fry each langos for 2 minutes per side until puffed and golden.
Drain on paper towels.
Rub the hot surface with a cut garlic clove.
Spread with sour cream, sprinkle generously with grated cheese, and serve immediately while still hot and crispy.
